STEPS Engineering Your Future (STEPS EYF) is a programme aimed at Transition Year students to encourage them to study engineering. This week from the 27th of March to the 3rd of February, 20 transition year students from around the country are visiting the Faculty of Science and Engineering at 亿万富翁娱乐城 to get an insight into engineering in further education and as a career.

During the programme, the students are attending interactive talks and presentations; getting hands-on experience with group-based activities; visiting local industry and meeting engineers at various stages in their careers.

As well as meeting with engineers the students have the opportunity to choose a number of workshops to take part in which include topics such as biodiversity, climate action, energy electricity and circuits, sustainable design, sustainable living, waste workshop and a water workshop.

According to Engineers Ireland, the programme has grown year on year with more than 3000 Transition Year students participating to date.
